Changes to Billing Method for Web Hosting Accounts

March 21, 2008 – 3:04 am

Netmotivated has joined forces with Secpay to handle credit/debit card billing and with immediate effect has ceased to use Worldpay as it’s primary card processing provider.

How does this affect you?
———————————-
Anyone who has purchased services with Netmotivated since 15th November 2007 using a credit/debit card will have generated a ‘Worldpay Futurepay Agreement’. This agreement created a unique number which Netmotivated use to process recurring payments automatically without customer intervention.

With effect from 31st March 2008 Netmotivated will cease to take recurring payments using Worldpay.

What you MUST Do?
———————————-
If you are currently paying by credit/card you must login into your Client Area as soon as possible and add your credit card details to ensure that recurring payments for your account are not interrupted. You can get to the appropriate page by logging into to your Client Area https://www.netmotivated.co.uk/portal/clientarea.php then >> My Details and click on the ‘Change Credit Card Details’ link.

Payments in different currencies
———————————–
If you have previously chosen to convert your payment to Euros or Dollars this will no longer be possible using our new provider and in future all transactions will be in Pound Sterling (of course your credit/debit card provider will still convert to your own currency). We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Why have we made this change?
———————————–
We have made this change to make the order and credit/debit card billing process a better experience for customers. Customers can now manage their card details directly within their Client Area without the need to remember a different set of login details which was previously the case for the the Worldpay Futurepay agreements.

Questions we thought you may ask
———————————–
Q. Once I add my credit card details to the Client Area will my account still be billed automatically?
A. Yes.

Q. Can you take the existing details held with Worldpay and add to them to the Client Area for me?
A. No. For security reasons we are not permitted to do this. You must add your new card details into the Client Area yourself. If you do not do this we can not process recurring payments for your existing products and services.

Q. Do I need to cancel the Worldpay Futurepay Agreement?
A. NO, you don’t need to as we will do this on your behalf on the 31st March 2008. However, you are free to cancel this agreement yourself at anytime before that date by logging to Worldpay using the details they previously supplied you.

Q. Is there a chance I could get charged twice once I add my card details to the Client Area but do not cancel my Worldpay Futurepay Agreement?
A. No.

Q. Will we still take recurring payments using the Worldpay Futurepay Agreement?
A. Until the 31st March we will continue to take recurring payments via Worldpay unless you cancel the agreement before that date. After that date we will use the credit card details added to the Client Area. If you do not entered credit card details into your Client Area we will not be able to process the recurring payments for your existing products and services after that date.

Q. Can I still pay you using the Worldpay Futurepay Agreement regardless of these changes?
A. No. With effect from 31st March 2008 we will cease to use Worldpay altogether.

If you have any concerns please do not hesitate to raise a support ticket via your Client Area.

Kind regards
